Final Game for VR Enter the Dungeon

Final Game For VR Enter the Dungeon!
When you were a child, you had always been inspired by the noble warriors that protected your village every day. You felt as if you were born to be a hero, and you would do anything for that title. You loved looking out your bedroom window to watch the warriors tear down everything from zombies to spider jockeys. You wanted desperately to be one when you grew up. Though you had little money, you were fortunate enough to get into a special school that would teach you everything you needed to know to defeat every single monster that would come and attacks the town. The training was every day after you did your long studies. Your teacher was one of the army generals himself. Every day he told you that if you decided to take this path, you would never leave. He never stopped yelling and his face got so red when he became angry you thought he would explode. The training was very difficult because you had to train every day. You had to learn about every monster from the spider to the big enderdragon. Your teacher tried his best to prepare you for the ultimate test. It would take you 1 0 challenging, long years to finally pass the test. One night, while you were asleep, you heard the big and loud footsteps. You jumped out of your bed and got on your gear knowing that something terrible was about to happen. You shoved open the door and ran until you saw your commander. You asked what was happening, and he pointed up into the horizon. When you saw it, millions of emotions washed through you. At first, you were scared, then angry, then you felt nervous. Dwight was running at your town from a distance. The ground was shaking almost as much as you. The commander began yelling things at you. You understood now what your teacher was telling you. Putting on your brave face, you run and fight the giant zombie. With your handy sword, you begin climbing through the tall trees being burned to the ground. When you made it to the top of the tree, you jump onto the ugly zombie. You could hear your commander cheering you on, telling you that you need to destroy the beast. You climb up his shirt and begin attacking him ferociously. It takes a while, but eventually, he collapses. When you find your way back to the troops, you are surrounded by the townspeople. They lift you up and begin chanting the word you’ve always wanted to be called, Hero. Now that you’re older, and you're the most famous person in town because you saved the village once before. Now, Dwight is back, and he’s plotting to destroy the town. With your previous experience with fighting monsters, only you can stop the evil, giant wither from destroying the town. Are you ready, Hero?

What was my inspiration for this game and was it hard to create?
For this game, I was inspired to make a video game in VR. I thought, why not make a video game in VR for a challenge. I couldn't make a video game in such little time, so the next best thing was to make a map for a video game. My group and I created the game in Minecraft because it is a very easy video game to use. (For me at least) Since I know how to use this game, I decided it would be better to at least complete it in VR.

How I felt about creating a game.
Well, what I felt was shock, and joy while trying to create a game like this. I had to face a lot of anger when things didn't go the way I wanted them to. I had to face the struggle of thinking on new ideas and helping everyone else on my team at the same time. After that, I can clearly say that it was a fun time. Sure, I hated juggling between things for the game, but each day, I just had the excitement to see what I can do to improve our game. My favorite parts of creating the game were probably the new ideas that I could always contribute with my team. I loved that fact that all of us had loads of ideas and all of those ideas were fantastic.

Challenges and Successes of the game.
For one, I know that I tried to summon a Giant because that was originally supposed to be our boss. Apparently, Minecraft Windows 10 edition doesn't have giant zombies. The next best thing was a Wither and I think that worked out. Another challenge was getting the spawn points right. For some reason, it saved your spawn point at some random area in the woods. One success was getting the boss to stay where he is. Another success was building the arena where you fight the boss because it was just enough for you and the boss.

How did I feel about making a game in VR?
I feel very good about what I have accomplished. I think that I have done a fantastic job trying to create a game in the VR experience. I think it was pretty easy to get the character to feel immersed in the game because the player feels like they are in the game. I always had to keep in mind that I needed to make more space for the character. When playing in VR, you get very claustrophobic when you are in VR. Creating a game in VR, in my opinion, is like the same thing as playing the game on PC. The only thing different is that you can't run in Minecraft VR. This was a problem because creating a parkour bit for VR, I had to experience how it was like to at least do the parkour. After completing this game, I feel confident to say that I would want to try building a VR game that isn't in Minecraft. I would like a game that is only available for VR. To play this game, you need at least Minecraft windows 10. For the game, we tested with the Samsung Odysee but you could also use the Oculus Rift headset or the Windows Mixed Reality headset. If you don't have a VR machine, then it is ok. Just note that you wouldn't have the best adventure that you would normally have because you are not using the VR device.

Am I planning to continue working on games?
I really want to create other games. I would like to create a game using Game Maker Studio. I really think that if I make a good game, just maybe I would be able to hopefully put it on steam.
